Shikinejima Island

Shikinejima is an island in the Izu Archipelago, located off Izu Peninsula (not far from Tokyo). It is one of the smaller islands and is therefore less visited by Japanese holidaymakers. The small creeks and their pine trees make Shikinejima look a little like the Cote d'Azur, without the hordes of tourists! You can also enjoy a rare local speciality: onsen in the sea!
