Nagasaki

Nagasaki is in the eastern part of Kyûshû island, on the coast of the mountainous peninsula of the Gôto Sea. On August 9th, 1945 at 11:02 a.m., the U.S. Army’s B-29 nicknamed Bock's car dropped the second atomic bomb in history on Nagasaki. Today, Nagasaki is a modern, dynamic city.
