We will explore the lovely Kenrokuen garden, which is said to be one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan. It contains hundreds of different kinds of vegetation crisscrossed with small rivers and their wooden and stone bridges – truly beautiful! We will then visit the former samurai district and its extremely well- preserved traditional wooden houses. We will specifically visit the residence of the samurai Nagamachi, which has a lovely indoor garden and an exhibition of samurai armour and beautiful period sabres!
